I don't think that it looks better than Minecraft(which shall forever remain one of the only ever great truly "freeworld" games), but it does look like it could shape up to be something amazing. It looks quite easy to use. If it's simple enough, I can see my family getting into it with me, which is also good. Gonna be wonderful to see what people come up with.
The ability to share worlds online will be great. Hopefully that will be really intuitive with friends.
And this is more a general wish for online, but I also hope worlds and playing together if possible are both cross-platform compatible from far away. It's going to be sort of lonely on the Wii U version unless that happens because right now almost nobody owns one.
