Favorite console of all time?

Pretty basic question, out of all the consoles released in the past several decades, which one is your favorite? Mine's probably the GameCube, because it was an underdog in it's generation and has some of the best games ever made!

Nintendo 64. Why?
Mario Kart 64
Banjo-Tooie
Namco Museum 64
Waverace 64
'Nuff said.

The generation of the Genesis (Mega Drive) and the SNES is probably my favorite generation. Between the two is a tough call. Genesis had some fun quirky stuff like Decapattack and Powerball, but I think in the end SNES wins out.

Hands down SNES for me. A lot of those games still hold up extremely well today. And there is something nice about the sprite artwork. As much as I loved the N64 the graphics have not aged well at all.

^ Well, it was one of the first systems to utilize three dimensional graphics.

Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Street Fighter II, Secret of Mana.

In short, SNES.

The PS2 - Kingdom Hearts II, Shadow the Hedgehog, Transformers, Ratchet and Clank, Sly, Jak and Daxter? Nuff said.
The PS3 - LittleBigPlanet 2, Skate 3, Playstation All-Stars, R&C: Crack in Time, Worms Ulitmate Mayhem, Journey, Just Cause 2, Rayman Origins, The Unfinished Swan
The GameCube - Mario Kart Double Dash, Zelda Wind Waker, Pokemon Channel, Sonic Adventure 2

I am going to go with PS2. My fisrt 2 games were kingdom hearts and vice city!

Mine will always be the original Playstation and Final Fantasy 7 - the game I consider to be the greatest game ever. That said, I loved the Saturn and GameCube also - it was an exciting time to be a gamer
