What can I say?

I just don't enjoy platformer games.
I find them tedious.

And since all those games are from that genre, that's why I never liked them.

Zelda is not a platformer, Star Fox is not a platformer, Pokémon is not a platformer, Metroid is not a platformer, F-Zero is not a platformer, Pikmin is not a platformer,... ;)
Disney Infinity on the other hand has many platform sections...

Infinity is mainly a platformer, but due to it's nature can be considered nearly every genre out there.
Not dead, just busy. :)
