My mom and sister were able to grab a ZSS Amiibo and the Splatoon 3-pack today.

I was able to grab all of wave 5b today myself along with Mario Maker. Now comes the hard part of splitting time between building toy boxes in DI 3.0 and building levels in Mario Maker.

I waited online for an hour and a half to get my son the 30th 8 Bit Mario to go w/Mario Maker. Between this and Lego Dimensions his Xmas will be...wait for it...LEGENDARY

I scored at Walmart today, I found a Ganondorf and 2 Olimars. I only got one Olimar though

And on a lesser note I scored the Wall-E and Eve Funko Pop figures at Barnes and Nobles too.

In my opinion the only thing Amiibos are good for are as collectors items. They serve no purpose and have not been fully realized as a product outside of Smash Bros. So, to have them on your shelf looking cool, they are a gem...anything else. Nope.

A bunch of them unlock certain stuff in other games too^ they're not totally redundant

Picked up my Retro 3-pack today. I'm not sure if I should open it or not.

btw, the brilliance of the Amiibos is that while they may not offer much functionality now, they can easily be added in to future titles *cough new Nintendo system cough*
