Please help a newbie trying to help his daughter

Postby HalfBlackRazorback » Fri Jan 01, 2016 11:30 pm

Hello,
Im new to infinity. Im trying to help my 5 year old learn it. We have 2.0 for the PS3 the Marvel Starter packs. Im confused in how to build your toybox as well as unlocking items for the toybox. Could someone please post a link or some advice to help me maintain cool dad status.
Thanks in Advance

I think the toy box will be very complicated for a 5-year-old. You will probably have to take her ideas and translate it into the game for her.

I think I am beginning to understand. Or am I still confused

^^^thank you

So I have been playing 2.0 for about a week, and feel like im beginning to grasp this. Am I to understand correctly that once I place a character on the portal I will have access to all there toys in the toybox even after I remove them from the portal? Also when I unlock things in the game (Marvel) does that mean they are available for use in the toybox. Thank you all for your patience helping the new guy.

What you're saying is correct, however some of the unlocked toys need to be bought in the in game toy store (In the morning toy box menu). It's all free using in game currency

Generally speaking, placing figures on the base will unlock a couple toys. Usually the townsperson and the portrait for their interior. Playing the play sets and expansion games unlocks more toys. As ElmoStm said, you may have to purchase them from the Toy Store using sparks.

A lot of toys have to be u locked via the Toy store using sparks. sparks can be earned by finding colored capsules in the play sets and defeating enemies. Playing the play sets and expansion games will help you unlock even more toys. They are locked behind certain missions in the play sets/games.
