Figure Ownership Explained

Thanks for the info. After reading this, I'm still unsure about something... are we able to wipe a character's experience clean again? I want some of the more useful toy box items (cameras, etc) but I don't want to have to go out and buy another few figures solely so I can get more vault spins. Is there a way to wipe one of my characters and earn more vault spins from re-leveling?

Im still a little confused about ownership. My fiancee wants to get Disney Infinity on PS3 and I already have it on XBOX 360. If, for example, she uses my level 5 character on PS3 and claims ownership, gets it up to level 4, saves it and then I use it on XBOX 360, do I have to claim ownership on mine again? And then would I be continuing on from my level 5 or her level 4? If so, do we have to both keep claiming ownership or is that a once off thing?

Once you claim ownership as far as I know, you lose all of the save so you would restart at zero.

So, just so I can make sure of this. I have all of our characters attached to our Wii U right now at level 15. If I take the figures and put them on my 360 version and take ownership I can level them up then? Then I can take the same figure back to our Wii U, re-take ownership, and nothing will be lost? Thanks

From what I read on game faq you are correct, when you put them on the 360 you will start out at zero and can level up again, then put them on the Wii U and take ownership again to be at level 15. The key is every time you switch you have to take ownership again.

I'll just have to test it this weekend. Will let people know when I have the results. Thanks for the help.
