Costume Disc abilities?

Does the costume disc give any ability other than changing the costume? I thought that if you put it on another character it would give them some sort of an ability like increased defense, health, or whatever. If so is there a list of what they do?

Saw this posted on GameFaqs. Supposedly from the guide.

Gamma Rays (Hulk) - Provides a bonus to melee damage.

The Immortal Iron Fist (Iron Fist) - Provides a bonus to healing.

Alien Symbiote (Spider-Man) - Increases the radius in which a character can collect sparks.

Sentinel of Liberty (Captain America) - Provides a Spark Shield, which absorbs some damage before a character's health is reduced.

Space Armor (Gamora) - Provides additional protection from damage.

Stark Arc Reactor (Iron Man) - Provides a bonus to damage inflicted by ranged attacks.

Is the prima guide out yet? I believe that is where the source info for these originlly came from.

What it *should* do is put that costume on every character. That would make them worth something.

The prima guide for the originals circular discs:

All For One - increase in orange sparks collected.
Cursed Pirate Gold - Shield against damage
Rags to Riches - increase in blue sparks collected.
The Glory Days - bonus sparks when defeating enemies.
Sandy Claws Surprise - chance to inflict more damage on enemies.
