Bossfight Spawner Question

Another Question. The Bossfight Spawner works fine, but everytime, when i walk over it, it Spawns a Boss.

Is there any way to stop that Boss from Spawning? I want to put the Bossspawner at the Start of my Toybox and after doing some Quests, i want the Boss to Spawn and not before the quests are finished.

Please help me out.

You can set it to off through a logic connection.

Set it to "off" through one connection. When you are ready for the fight, set it to generate XXX.

Ah, okay. So if i would use a Levelstarter and say:

Levelstarter => Catalize => Bossfight Spawner off

the Boss won't appear, even if i walk over the Generator? I thought the Option "off" would just kill the Boss, when he appears.

Off prevents them from spawning. I used the level starter to turn it off. Once the mission was complete, set it to spawn.

Creativitoy --> boss fight spawner --> generate XXX

I am not sure if it is necessary but I also added a logic connection after I defeated the boss to turn it back off. I am not sure if generating the boss turned it on.

Xxx defeated --> logic gate --> input
Logic gate --> output --> boss fight spawned --> off

Well i did it as you said:

Levelstarter=catalize=bossfightspawner=off

The boss still spawns :(

Silly question, did you completely exit the level after adding the level starter?

I will check my level when I get home but am pretty sure that is how I did it.

For sure :) I added all connections, saved the gane, reloaded it and the boss still spawns.

Well, I went back and looked at the logic connections and I never actually turned it off at the start of the level. It is in an inaccessible part of the level.

I am getting ready to create another level with a Boss Fight so I will test out the connections.

Im also thinking of putting the Spawner into the air (but not that high, so that the Boss won't get damaged, if he is falling down) and putting some invisible barriers around it with a smal way, which can be used from the Boss to get out.
Not the best solution, but i do not have any other ideas for it.
