how to: reset your character to level 1 PSvita

ok so i started playing and i used a previously owned character and chose to share ownership, how can i get him to go back to level one on the Vita? i go into the menu go into options then game options but reset character isn't showing up.
anybody got any how to?

Make sure your base is connected and the character you want to reset is on the base.

the base and character are connected but there is no option to reset the character
edit: ok found out has to be game options from main menu
but is there any way to erase it completely
its saying it will remove my ownership but it will retain other masters info.. any way to completely wipe it?

Resetting it should erase everything.

i reset it but it still has me sharing ownership
