Backwards and Forward Compatibility

Hello guys,

I am new to the infinity mentality so please bare with me.
I just bought the Star Wars starter pack for Infinity 3.0 for PS4
It came with the base, the software disc and the figurines.
As i understand it i can play all the figurines in the Toy Box but only 3.0 ones in their play sets.

My question now is what i can do to play the original playsets as in 2.0 and 1.0?
My guess would be just buy the software disc and the figurines?
Will that be online or in hard copy?

You can get 2.0 digitally or on a disc and you can buy 1.0 on a disc but it is not on PS4. In 1.0 you can use 1.0 figures in 1.0 play sets and in the toy box and in 2.0 you can use 1.0 and 2.0 figures in the toy box and 2.0 figures in 2.0 play sets. You can't use play sets from previous versions in later versions so you wouldn't be able to use 1.0 and 2.0 play sets in 3.0 other than to unlock the toys from them.
