Enemy Wave generator help!

Hi guys

I'm trying to create a tower defence style game where enemy ai try to destroy a safety done, and the players job is to defend it for 3 minutes to pass the challenge.

The problem I am facing is I want the enemy generator to continually respawn enemies after each wave is defeated until the timer runs down to 0. I'm having trouble however, as whenever I end the challenge, my waves continue to spawn.

My current set up is

Enemy wave generator > wave defeated > logic gate input > time delayer 5 seconds > generate wave

I have tried using a kill switch but I still get generated enemies after the challenge is finished. Any help would be great!

Do you have the challenge maker closing the logic gate when the challenge is completed? If not, that would cause an infinite loop of enemies.

Try using:
Enemy wave generator > wave defeated >time delayer 5 seconds> logic gate input> generate wave
And
Challenge maker> game ended> > logic gate>close
It's no use! Take this!

I don't think you want to use a time delayed in this case. You should only need a timer.

To start the challenge:
Challenge maker --> start --> timer start
Challenge maker --> start --> logic gate --> input
Logic gate --> output --> enemy wave generator --> generate wave

To generate the next wave:
Enemy wave generator --> Wave Defeated --> Logic gate --> Input

To end the challenge with success:
Timer --> Timer Expired --> Challenge Maker --> Complete the game

To fail the game, you would hook the destroyed action on the safety dome to the challenge maker
Challenge Maker --> Game Failed

To end the challenge:
Challenge Maker --> Game Ended --> Logic gate --> Close
Challenge Maker --> Game Ended --> Enemy Wave Generator --> Defeat Wave

If you have specific actions for success or failure, you would hook those to the Game Completed or Game Failed.
