Best way to fix a broken figure

My son was playing with some of the toys today and Luke's lightsaber broke off near the base. What have people found to be the best way to repair these? Simple super glue, hobby glue like for minis, or something else?

Darth Maul's snapped off on ours. Still need to try to fix it. We used super glue one Violet's head.

Yea a super glue as long as it drys clear will work fine
