Does sharing Oceaneer MagicBand items still work on PS4?

I read on some threads that it doesn't work anymore, but all of the people seem to be on Xbox One. Am I right in assuming it also doesn't work for PS4 anymore?

I am pretty sure this is true for all platforms. I know it is true for XBox One and Wii U.
