Cable Lengh?

I know it has been brought up before but now that we're closer to launch I was wondering if anyone now knows or could find out at D23 the length of the cable included in the Starter Pack. I will be very grateful if anyone can tell me!

Ok will try to. But I did see that GameStop will let you purchase a 6 foot (2 meters) extension cable.

The extension cable is 6 feet. Mine came yesterday. Not that that was your question.

Is the extender a special cable or is it just your standard USB extender?

Standard extender. Hmm. *reads box* It says "doubles the length of your cable, so the base cable must be 3 feet.

^ I think if it says double then the base length would be 6 feet with extender doubling to 12, if it was 3 then the box of the extender would say triple not double as it wold then make it 9 feet.

I'm not so sure of the exact length, but judging by this photo:

You can probably look at it and make an estimate of how long it might be. Unless, there's more of the cable being hidden behind Jack.
