Shipwreck Shoals help

I did this before buy I made a new account and I can't do it now. I am trying to to the "On the ship of the dead" mission and I got off my boat and got all the capsules I could but evertime I go to the green arrow/main path it won't say I've completed the mission. It wouldn't work so I went to Dead Man's Cove and did everything there and got the piece of the bane and then went back to Shipwreck Shoals and it still won't work. Is there anything you can think of that can help me. Every time I go to shipwreck shoals and go to the main path nothing happens and I go up to the bane and nothing happens. Like I said I did this on my old ps3 account and I can't do it on my new one. A similar thing happen in Monsters University I bought one of the houses and it didn't come up that I did the mission. Any help is appreciated.
