Disney Infinity Fans

I originally pre-ordered Infinity on the Wii U because I thought the gamepad would be great for the game, especially in Toy Box mode. However, my wife and I are planning to do quite a bit of local MP and I'm beginning to rethink the idea of purchasing this game for the Wii U because I don't think the Wii Remote (which she would use) will be all that great for the game. The Pro controller would be a decent option but very few games utilize it so I'd be shocked if Infinity broke the mold. That being said, I'm considering changing my pre-order to the PS3 as I'm sure the DualShock controllers will do the job just fine.

I haven't been able to find out anything concrete about Infinity on the Wii U or the differences for the game amongst the various consoles but I figured you guys may have some idea. What do you guys think?

Are there any gameplay videos showcasing local mp on the wii u? I have this exact dilemma as well and I am going to preorder in the next day or so... It's frustrating that they won't use the pro controller, though I blame Nintendo more than I do disney....awful marketing has led to awful 3rd party experiences on the wii u, the only way I'm going to get the most out of infinity is if my girlfriend likes it too and I don't think the wiimote is going to exactly capture her attention.

theres a few good reasons to keep it wii u ^^ the walk away feature so you can play it while people are using your tv also the sound from the wii u gamepad along with the sound from the tv is awesome and also the wii u is the greenest concole so it uses the least power of any console and going through the menu in toybox on the wii pad in your hand i think will be awesome

^Are there confirmed Wii U features for this game? Not all wii u games have the off screen gameplay features and not all games utilize the inventory system on the touch pad, these features are game specific and I haven't seen any articles or videos showcasing them. I very much hope they are, but I have my doubts as this will likely be a straight port.

I would personally get it for PS3.
