Crystal McQueen

I am having troubles deciding If I show get the crystal McQueen is he worth get? Does he need to be opened to play with or are they like the skylanders? Does he unlock anything in game?

Please help make my decision easier!!!!

I wasn't going to get this one, until I read that the Crystal version has better powers, and looks different in-game, at the same price as the other figures i was sold.

Well you can activate the base in store without removing a figure from the packaging, so I would assume you could at home also. Personally, I am buying one simply to show off with the rest of my collection; he looks pretty amazing and will look cool both in game and on my shelf.

At first I didn't want him either, but when it comes down to it I'm getting every other character so why not? Plus at least he's a little different than the normal version.

I think it'll be cool to have all the Variant Crystals in a display case once they release them all!

I picked one up on release day. Looks really cool! I'd recommend him if you're a fan of Cars.
