Figure choices

So I went to get Vanellope on release day, and she wasn't in stock. I've been checking the store lately, and they don't know when they'll get them. So I can either wait until I find her, or get the Frozen Toy Box Pack on the 15th, OR get Jack Skellington or Rapunzel now. Opinions wanted, preferably based on which character unlocks what.

I haven't tried it yet (as my delivery of Ralph and Vanellope is still pending).

But I think they come with more and better unlocks.
Cherry Bomb pack, 3 vehicles, Nicelander apartment building, Niceland sky and Niceland textures/theme.
Or so the internet says, I can't personally confirm it yet.

Frozen comes with Snowball pack, Chilly Sky and Snowy Ground.
That I know personally, because I got it yesterday.
Also, Elsa's combat style is unique, there is nobody else like her in the game.

Jack Skellington comes with Halloween Town Gate and Pumpkin Bombs.
Rapunzel comes with Frying Pan pack and her tower.
I got Jack a month ago and Rapunzel yesterday, so confirmed.

If it was me, this would be the preference order:

Wreck-It Ralph (for unlocks)
Frozen (because Anna and Elsa are fun!).
Jack and Rapunzel.

I hope this information helps you in reaching a conclusion.

Vanellope comes with her HD Cherry Bombs, Candy Kart, and the Royal Racer. Plus, she's fun to use when glitching around. Unless you want any of the items stated above, I say wait for Vanellope.

Got Vanellope yesterday, luckily she was in stock. I'm keeping this open to know how Jack Skellington and Rapunzel are in combat. I might get them soon.

I was rather unwhelmed by Jack's combat mechanic.
All he does is roar?
Isn't that exactly what the Monsters University characters do?

While Jack's scream can be terrifying, it's not a weapon in itself.
The movie doesn't show him fighting much, but Kingdom Hearts elaborated a lot on Jack's fighting style.
It's all about leaping and balance while melee fighting.
Jack is fast and agile and since I didn't get that, I was just bored with his fighting style.

The only other attack he has is a pumpkin bomb, but that's just a reskin of cherry bomb.

To be honest, it looks they they didn't even try to make Jack's fighting special.

Rapunzel fights by kicking and swinging her frypan.
She can also throw it as a ranged weapon.
Her ground pound attack is a solar burst (she sends out a pulse of sunlight).

Okay...looks like Jack's no good in combat. Since I fight enemies a lot in Toy Box, I'm interested in their combat.

And so, if I decide to get anyone before the end of the year, it'll be Rapunzel (or Wreck-It Ralph, if I can find him).

I would say get Rapunzel for fighting because she can throw her frying pan and also perform attack combos with it.
