^ It is actually not consumer rights at all. I'll explain how it works.
1) The company advertises a product for sale at a certain price
2) The customer comes along and says, "Yes please, I'll buy it at that price"
3) The company can then choose whether to accept the offer to buy or not
The customer has no legal right to demand the item be sold to them at that price. It's a lot like swapping cards at school, but obviously on a more serious level.
