I'm buying the 3-packs and the game from GameStop and the disks and playsets and figures from Best Buy, so I hope they both have midnight launches.

I am pretty sure GameStop does a midnight launch on just about everything, now. I will most likely most likely make my way to a Toys R us. I have heard that they may have an exclusive Lightning McQueen figure on top of the discs. The Cars playset was not on top of my list, but if I understand some of the information coming out. T be able to race in Toy Box mode you need Cars. Can this be confirmed?

From what I was told as Gamestop on a previous game was that in order to have a midnight launch, the store must have a set number of preorders to justify staying open and paying their workers. Honestly, I don't think that will be the case. Considering this is for the most part a game geared towards kids, a midnight launch seems unlikely. For this reason I have actually decided to skip the preorder all together and will be making my way to walmart at midnight.

^ do u think toys r us is planning to do a midnight launch. If it is based on preorders, I assume the exclusives will help TRU have more preorders.

I always make fun of my friends that pre order from GameStop. Where I live Walmart and GameStop share the same parking lot. Every midnight release they go put up with huge crowds at GameStop. When halo 4 came out I went with them, while they were waiting in line I went to Walmart to look at DVDs. There it turned midnight and I saw a handful of people instantly get their copy of halo 4 and walked out and were gone. I walked back to GameStop and waited another half hour for my friends to get theirs.

Walmart is open 24-7 so wouldn't that be the best pre order place? I would have but I traded in games to pre order.

^ well, from what this sounds like, sounds like a great idea! Although in Arizona, I don't really know if there will be big crowds for a DI midnight Launch.

I just rang EB Games here in Oz and they said there would not be a midnight launch for Infinity. :(
