It sounds like you got one pair for $20 and paid full retail for the other two.

The 4 figures I bought at Target all rang up full price. They were Sam Flynn, Quorra, Sabine, and Yoda. When asked at checkout I was told it was "select figures", but I don't recall the signs in store specifying which, just 3 or 4 "2 for $20" signs that looked randomly placed and the figures had all been moved around out of any order. They had me second guessing it was only 1.0 and 2.0 figures until I saw Target.com lists them under the deal. A call to customer service wouldn't even verify I should've gotten the deal, just asked me to bring in the receipt and unopened items to investigate. I've already opened them and discarded anything with a UPC in case that's all the really needed. I suppose I could just go in and buy the same figures (if even in stock, I think I got the last Yoda and Sam Flynn), go to customer service get refunded the deal difference then return the new figures for a refund. Too much hassle, I'll just stick to online orders for sales in the future.

Safe to say Target & Wal*Mart dropped the ball on this launch.

I picked up 2 figures Sunday (Yoda, Flynn) from Target. They rang up at 28 something, and wouldn't give me the 2 for 20 (All figures (DI, II or III) until I made them get out their advertisement. The 2 for $20 deal runs through 9/5 actually, and should overlap with their deal tomorrow 9/4 which provides $10 off $50 or $25 off $100 of Star Wars Toys.

That deal coupled with 2 for $20 should allow for some good acquisitions of Obi Wan+Sabine ($20) plus Twilight of Republic ($35) for $55 (less $10) = $45. This plus digital copy on PS3 for $20 gives basically the starter set plus 2 extra figures for $65.

Also available on line with free shipping.

I realize that this deal doesn't include the toybox takeover pre-order bonus. Missed the boat on that one. Ha.

If the coupon, in store or online "Force" only excludes Lego or clearance items, and they overlap tomorrow, I'd say an argument could be made that anything not excluded is included. No?
