Disney Infinity Fans

OK, so I know it's a little early, but I have heard John Vignocchi mention that there would be a Midnight launch of Disney Infinity on August 18 in the U.S. I don't know if this is a good or a bad idea, but I though I would make this thread to talk about the Midnight premier: What it might be like, where they might offer it, and even new info if it come out about the midnight launch. I'm really hoping to go to the Midnight Launch of infinity, but because I don't have a license, it's all up to my dad. Anyway, hopefully, through this thread, we can help gather a little more info about this Midnight Launch.

I, too, hope to see more info on this. I think it could be pretty cool. Has Skylanders set this precedent? If so, then how did those go? I am trying to imagine how they would go as my experience is limited to HP midnight releases. Trivia contests? Costume contests? Disney sing-a-long?

I can't honestly see there being a midnight release for this, maybe at Disney stores but I can't see the big players like GAME or GameStop opening their doors especially for it

I'm actually in Florida on holiday when it's released so I'm hoping they do something a little bit special at Walt Disney World for release - some freebies would be nice but I think that's wishful thinking

In Australia, EBGames has done midnight launches, but only for really big games like Mass Effect and a few others I can't remember because I wasn't interested in them.

I'm not sure if Disney Infinity would rate a special midnight launch for EBGames.
