NOOOOOOOOOOO!

Just got this email from TRU:

"Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for shopping at Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us!

We wanted to inform you that we have not yet received inventory on your XB360 Infinity Starter Pack pre-order which was expected in-store on August 18th, 2013. We will send you a follow-up email once this item is available and ready for pickup."

I have a hard time believing there will be no X-Box starer packs available on launch. Hope shipment comes in tomorrow.

So Im not the only one that received this then.

That is crazy! I know the stores have been getting them in; I held one on Wednesday. I guess worst case scenario is to try and pick one up at a different store. I know that the TRU I shop at has been taking inventory of certain items to other TRU stores because they had not received anything; I am not sure what items those were though.

I just got back from TRU (post more about soon) before I received the email and an TRU employee said to me that they had been getting DI shipment for the last month. They mostly have Wii starter pack (not Wii U). I wondered why and the employee said he/she thought it was because everyone has a Wii.

Well I pre-ordered my PS3 starter pack with them......they better have them in when I go in on Sunday. You'd think based on pre-orders that they would be prepared!

I just thought of something. I am not sure if their system still works this way or not, but in the past TRU had a special pre-order area. An employee would have to physically scan the pre-order into the pre-order location marking the order as ready. If this did not take place before a certain time period an e-mail would be send saying the product had not arrived; I know someone who forgot to do this once and created this very scenario. In short, I would call and see if they have them in.

Update: Contacted my local TRU store and they confirmed that they do have the 360 starter pack! They actually put me on hold and looked (very nice of them) and a quick glance saw at least 6 of them.

I preordered my starter pack for ps3 at GameStop and free figure + free disc pack

Everyone relax toys r us will have them by Sunday.i preordered mine from GameStop got a call yesterday saying Sunday at 9am.
