Visited TRU

I just got back from TRU. I went there wanting to get a sense of how things would be on Sunday and see if they had next week's ad early (they didn't). Well I just so happen to show up when someone was putting together the base station. Employees tested out figures (Mrs. Incredible and Mike) and a pack of discs. When a figure or disc pack was added to the reader a video would show showcase that item. I didn't get a lot of info out of the employees. As mentioned in another post, DI shipment has been coming in for the last month. One of the employees did scan for me a figure to confirm BOGO 50% deal. Also confirmed was that the store was opening at 8 am on Sunday (no one new until I told them the info was on the website). I was surprised the DI area was on a side aisle instead of right near the beginning of the video game department (Skylanders was still in that space).

Did you ask them about your pre-order or the lack there of?

So by putting the power disks on the display, you can essentially tell which disk it is? Or is it. General video about power disks?

Wait, did they put that exclusive disc pack on the reader? I am curious what came up on the screen.

GusGus, Funny things is I went to TRU first and then when I got back to my computer I got the email! (Great timing). After RapturePanic recommendation I did call the store and spoke to one of the people I saw not more then an hour before and he/she confirmed that they do have the 360 version in stock!

Ah, ok; I thought we might get lucky by seeing what was in each pack by using the in store reader. I can dream.
