Lone Ranger Playset was $12.99 @ Bestbuy.com EXPIRED

I have posted this before within several other posts that the Lone Ranger Play Set is marked at $12.99 at Bestbuy.com.

Today Best Buy added the picture of the Lone Ranger Play Set for this item still listed as $12.99 on their website. If you have not ordered it yet, you should jump on this deal while it is still available. The picture appears when doing a search for "Infinity Lone Ranger" on Bestbuy.com.

I used two $5 Best Buy Reward Certificates and got the Lone Ranger Play Set for $2.99.

Congrats to all that had a chance to preorder the Disney Infinity Lone Ranger Playset at $12.99. Best Buy has now updated the price on their website for the playset to $34.99.

Sweeeeeeet I got mine in on time. Are we sure they won't go and charge us the difference now? Or cancel our orders?

By the way thanks for posting this in the first place! Since you seem to be on the up and up about sales and availability, you should start a "Infinity prices and availability updates" thread where we can just continually post any updates we have for any Infinity product across the board.

Best Buy can not raise the price of something that you have already preordered, but they do have the right to cancel orders if they want to. Best Buy had also mispriced the Sidekicks 3-pack at $12.99 when they initially added that item to its website. I didn't know about that one at the time, but I have not heard of any of the people that got in on that deal having their orders cancelled.

There is a website called NewEgg.com that is currently selling the Lone Ranger Playset for $12.99. I have never purchased anything from this company.

In the past I have had pre-orders like this with errors in prices canceled by other companies. That doesnt say anything about what best-buy will do. You will just have to wait and see.

NewEgg.com is a reputable site. They are known for PC parts mostly but they are very good. I have purchased RAM from them in the past.

Yeah, it can be hit and miss if companies actually honour the price. You will have to let us know if the do.
