Disney Infinity Fans

I play also games like Sims 3, if you buy an expansion pack there is also the limited edition one with special content in your game. I thought this would be really cool in DI, for example with de LE Cars playset you will get a special Cars powerdisk you can't buy.

I think that would be awesome but if you think about it logically (Here's comes the sad truth), Disney would have to create a certain amount of content (e.g power discs, extra figure) and it would cost more in manufacturing. I don't think they would do it but I could be wrong.

when it comes to costs of producing product this isn't ever going to be a reason for Disney not to do something

I expect to have to trade and buy discs online but I don't want to have to buy obscure things that I never would have otherwise just to collect a rare disc.
I really hope this is a road that Infinity avoids.

No they won't have limited edition playsets. That's just so much time and money on something only few can enjoy.

Didn't the Toys R Us president (CEO?) state that they would probably be carrying exclusives? If that is figures or discs I am not sure, but either could be nice.

Limited Edition playsets? No to much work and content. Limited edition stuff in playsets and limited edition figures? Yes that is a possibility. (See Zurg in Toy Story 3)
