So I went over to my local Gamestop today. They FINALLY put up the Infinity display!
But that isn't the real main reason why I am writing this thread. I spoke to the general manager of the store and talked about the midnight release that John Vignocchi has been so vocal about. According to the manager in order for GameStop to warrant spending the money for employees to staff a midnight release they must have a certain number of pre-orders of the game (not the figures and everything else). This is for each individual location. So I asked him to see how many pre-orders the store had. Even though it has a good number of pre-orders he said "there aren't nearly enough pre-orders." I was a little bummed to say the least. Not only will it not be released at midnight at my location but in the US it is being released on a Sunday and GameStop opens later on Sundays. I know it isn't as bad as the europeans but just wanted to let everyone know that they should contact wherever they made their reservations and see when they will be open to pick up their copies. Especially if they plan on going for a midnight release
